If I could lather my sunscreen this thick I would ☀️✔️
Pity in perth we live in the depths of Mordor 🔥 and it all comes off. Reapplying is key.
There is a couple of myths around sunscreen that we need to get past ✔️
Myth #1 - Sunscreen causes cancer? NO
This myth came about by Non-broad spectrum sunscreen (not protecting from UVA).
People would apply UVB protection and go out into the sun for hours on end and not get burnt. HOWEVER- they have had several hours exposed to UVA.
Because UVA causes skin cancer, they have not been protected.
Conclusion- We must wear Broad - spectrum sunscreen! ☀️☀️☀️☀️
Myth # 2- A moisturiser which contains a sunscreen is not as effective as sunscreen alone.
-Some will consider this a diluted sunscreen.
The thing is, ALL sunscreens are TGA listed in Australia, therefore if the sunscreen claims it’s an SPF 30+, it is!
